Dear Virus

Dear Virus began as a 100-day project in April of 2020–one square a day for 100 days. Each square documents in text fragments quotidian elements of my life, the world in crisis, the political disaster of the trump presidency, and social justice news (specifically events related to police violence toward Black Americans following the murder of George Floyd which occurred midway through the 100 days). Making this quilt allowed me to grieve in small doses. Some details of the quilt follow:
